Requirements

BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or another technical related field
4+ years of experience developing applications in C++ (with at least 3 years of C++ 17)
Experience with C++ 14/17/20, Linux and Python and BASH scripting
In-depth knowledge of the Linux kernel, systems programming
A passion for solving challenging problems
Strong systems knowledge and experience in developing low latency systems
Experience with writing applications connecting to exchange API’s or using network protocols
Experience with parallel, concurrent, and multi-threaded programming
Experience with Git, SVN, Mercurial

About the position

We are looking to add multiple C++ Software Engineers to join our very profitable and rapidly growing US Options Market Making business as we scale our footprint across new assets, venues, and strategies. We are currently hiring for this role in New York City, Chicago and London.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the Engineering team to evolve our current C++ 17 infrastructure as we migrate to C++ 20
Directly interact with our Traders and Quants to design technology solutions for options pricing
Use your systems knowledge to help Traders capture edge in the marketplace
Build libraries that will drive research in various parts of the business
Utilize FPGA technology to enhance our strategy
Create and develop scalable multi-tiered applications
Work on small collaborative teams and be a key component of our success

Required Skills

BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or another technical related field
4+ years of experience developing applications in C++ (with at least 3 years of C++ 17) preferably with high availability systems with very tight latency constraints
Experience with C++ 14/17/20, Linux and Python and BASH scripting
In-depth knowledge of the Linux kernel, systems programming
A passion for solving challenging problems
Strong systems knowledge and experience in developing low latency systems
Experience with writing applications connecting to exchange API’s or using network protocols
Experience with parallel, concurrent, and multi-threaded programming
A huge plus is experience with low-latency computing and hardware-level design
Experience with Git, SVN, Mercurial

In accordance with New York City’s Pay Transparency Law, the anticipated base salary range for this role is $175,000 to $325,000. Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits offered to employees.
