Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering
Registered Professional Engineer
4+ years of experience in this discipline
Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or Microstation
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Strong communication skills both written and verbal
Ability to work well individually or as part of a team

Responsibilities

Support project managers in the planning and execution of engineering projects
Assist in the preparation of project proposals, budgets, and timelines
Conduct engineering analysis and design for assigned projects
Design complete projects or components of a project, and prepare complete project documents
Apply engineering techniques, methods, and design criteria to support project execution
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project goals are met
Prepare and review project documentation, reports, and specifications
Collaborate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies
May assign work to junior engineers, technicians, or administrative staff
May be involved in the mentorship and development of junior level staff
May perform other duties associated with this role

We are looking for a talented Civil Engineer to join our roadway/highway design team. The ideal candidate for this role will be a Professional Engineer with experience working on local agency and/or DOT roadway design projects. Our transportation design team offers a variety of services, but most of our work involves roadway and bridge design for various local public agencies and state DOT’s.

In this position, the candidate will:

Qualifications for this role:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering
Registered Professional Engineer
4+ years of experience in this discipline (Candidates with higher levels of experience are welcome to apply)
Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or Microstation
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Strong communication skills both written and verbal
Ability to work well individually or as part of a team are essential
