Requirements
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent
  • Demonstrated experience working in an HR supporting role
  • Expert knowledge of current employment legislation and an ability to apply this knowledge to real-life employee relations issues
  • Ability to build solid relationships with managers, people team, cross-functional internal partners, and external providers/vendors
  • Client service bias, meeting and anticipating client needs
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal, mediation, and conflict resolution skills

Responsibilities
  • Build trust-based relationships with employees to implement initiatives that drive the development objectives of KAYAK
  • Coach and advise managers on a variety of employee issues such as compensation, performance, management and leadership style, and compliance
  • Proactively partner with colleagues across a distributed team to ensure an integrated approach to help scale the business
  • Ensure accuracy/compliance of employee data and files through regular review and audit
  • Ensure that exiting employees are managed appropriately including system notifications, conducting exit interviews, and performance improvement plans
  • Work as part of the wider P&C team to manage cyclical processes like engagement surveys, performance management and merit cycle processes
  • Provide expertise in development and execution, planning, and facilitation of employee growth and retention efforts
  • Focus on data-driven decisions & recommendations to solve business challenges and assess the efficiency of people practices and programs
  • Contribute to an HR strategy that delivers business results while promoting employee advocacy
  • Proactively contribute to the P&C agenda and P&C function
