Requirements
- Carpentry competence including partition framing with metal/wood studs, installation of basic cabinetry and countertops, and installation of doors and windows
- Painting skills for interior and exterior surfaces
- Flooring installation experience for vinyl composition tile, luxury vinyl tile, tile, carpet squares, and cove base
- Plumbing knowledge including replacement and installation of sinks, faucets, toilets, basic drainage and water lines
- Electrical skills including replacement and installation of light fixtures, switches, and outlets; capability to diagnose minor electrical problems and basic data connections
- Ability to operate basic computer tasks
- Willingness and ability to travel across the United States for overnight shifts as needed
- Ability to follow OSHA requirements and maintain safety standards
- Detail-oriented with ability to document repairs, measurements, take photos, provide recommendations and prepare quotes
- Flexibility to work overtime and be on-call as workload dictates
- Must be willing to travel and work overnight shifts; travel is mandatory
- Supply basic construction hand tools
- Completion of OSHA 30-hour training or willingness to obtain it within 3 months of employment (employer paid)
Responsibilities
- Perform commercial renovations and build-outs
- Adhere to OSHA safety requirements while performing duties
- Communicate with customers in a presentable manner and build relationships
- Document repairs with measurements, photographs, and quotes; provide recommendations for repairs
- Work overtime and/or on-call as workload and emergency issues dictate
- Travel and work overnight shifts across the United States when needed
