- Proven track record of at least 15 years in solution engineering or a related technical field, with a minimum of 10+ years in a leadership role.
- Experience managing a global solution engineering team.
- Strong understanding of B2B technology SaaS solutions and the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to collaborate across departments and work effectively in a matrixed organization.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field; advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus
- Provide strategic leadership to the Global Solution Engineering team, setting clear goals and objectives.
- Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation within the solution engineering team.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team of leaders and solution engineers.
- Collaborate with the sales and product teams to develop and execute pre-sales strategies that align with the company's global objectives.
- Oversee the creation of compelling technical proposals and presentations to showcase our solutions to prospective clients.
- Recruit, train, and develop a world-class solution engineering team capable of supporting global sales initiatives.
- Provide ongoing coaching, mentorship, and professional development opportunities for team members.
- Work closely with regional sales teams to understand customer requirements and tailor solutions to meet their needs.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as product development and customer success, to ensure a seamless transition from pre-sales to implementation.
- Act as a key technical liaison between the company and clients, ensuring a deep understanding of customer needs and challenges.
- Manage and optimize resources within the Solution Engineering team to meet global demand.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor solutions, and emerging technologies to provide valuable insights to the team and the company.
- Serve as a technical authority, ensuring the team is equipped with the latest knowledge and tools.
