eBay, Inc. seeks MTS 1, Software Engineer in San Jose, CA
Job Duties: Build and manage software products designed to help eBay’s analysts visualize massive, sophisticated datasets quickly and easily. Deliver software for exploring data, while operating efficiently and effectively to quickly respond to new business. Work on all of the services, tools and components that eBay supports and will be actively involved in all aspects of software development. Support third-party tools and middleware, as well as internally developed software applications for web browsers and mobile devices by building responsive web applications. Model data for relational databases and document stores, testing processes, design strategies, and writing test cases in medium to large sized projects and incorporating automated tests into ci / cd pipeline. Utilize knowledge and experience in frontend engineering experience using javascript, typescript, python, moderate to heavy node.js, vue.js, git, and SQL benefits. Telecommuting permitted - work can be performed from anywhere in the U.S.
Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field plus two years of experience in the job offered, as a software engineer, or a related occupation.

Base salary: $157,000-205,700 per annum. 40 hours per week; M-F, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
