Requirements
  • A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
  • A minimum of one year of related experience is required.
  • Must maintain tracking and identification of calibrated tools and special equipment and issue, receive, dispose of, and handle hazardous materials and hazardous waste.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain records of tools issued to and returned by workers.
  • Receive, account for, unpack, and store new equipment.
  • Read and interpret manufacturers' and maintenance manuals.
  • Attach identification tags or engrave identifying information on tools and equipment using electric marking tools, as applicable.
  • Use a computer, keyboard, mouse, printer, and Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; navigate and enter or retrieve information in NALCOMIS/OOMA.
  • Prepare periodic inventories or maintain perpetual inventory and requisition stock as needed.
  • Monitor the condition of all equipment on an ongoing basis.
  • Report the loss, damage, or destruction of tooling in accordance with documented procedures.
  • Receive, store, and issue hand tools, machine tools, dies, replacement parts, shop supplies, equipment, measuring devices, and hazardous materials in an industrial establishment.
  • Maintain accountability for all tool inventories.
  • Continuously develop and maintain a safe work environment.
  • Complete required training, fulfill self-aid and buddy-aid responsibilities, participate in emergency response tasks, and serve on safety committees and teams as appropriate.
  • Conform to the Amentum Quality Policy and perform job activities in compliance with applicable Amentum Quality System documents and customer contracts.
  • Read and understand Quality Management and Customer Satisfaction responsibilities.
  • Perform all other position-related duties as assigned or requested.
