The Role
As a Compliance Engineer at Cerebras, you will focus on the compliance validation and certification for Cerebras products. We are looking for extraordinary individuals with outstanding track records for debugging, solving problems, and taking a product successfully to production. You will have the rewarding opportunity to be part of a team that works on state-of the art technology.
Responsibilities
- Work with certification labs to drive product safety certification for global market access
- Work with certification labs to drive EMC certification for global market access
- Work with the Design team to ensure necessary design measures are taken proactively for the smooth certification of future product generations
- Determine software requirements for performing the safety and EMC tests and work with System Software teams to get the tests in place
- Work with suppliers to gather certification documents for components
- Work with Product team on the safety and EMC related markings, labels, and manuals
- Work with the Design team and System Software team to debug issues exposed in compliance validation
- Work with Failure Analysis team to document RCCA for customer-facing issues
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with product safety testing and certification, e.g., IEC 62368
- Experience with EMC testing and certification
- Experience working with external certification labs or agencies
- Excellent communication, planning, and coordination skills across Systems, Operations, and Software teams
- Experience working with liquid cooling systems and high power AC circuits
- Experience writing test scripts with Python, shell, and bash in Linux environment and effectively logging and analyzing a large amount of test data
