Its CNAP platform, built on Google Cloud and Chronicle, is a SIEM-as-a-service that ingests and analyzes security data to detect, investigate, and respond to threats, complemented by SOC oversight and per-employee pricing. The company differentiates itself through the combined scale and breadth from the Herjavec Group and Fishtech Group merger, delivering a technology-enabled service model that pairs CNAP with human experts. Cyderes and Palo Alto Networks partner on SOC modernization.

Cyderes and Palo Alto Networks partner on SOC modernization. August 5, 2026 Cyderes and Palo Alto Networks have partnered to help global enterprises modernize security operations using Palo Alto Networks' Cortex XDR and Cortex XSIAM platforms. Announced at Black Hat USA 2026, the partnership integrates Cyderes' managed detection and response, implementation and managed security services with Palo Alto Networks' security operations technology. Cyderes will serve as a delivery and implementation partner for Cortex XDR and Cortex XSIAM across the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and EMEA. The companies are targeting enterprises looking to consolidate security data, detection, incident management, and threat intelligence while supporting both fully managed and co-managed SOC models. Cortex XDR brings together telemetry from endpoint, network, cloud, identity, and email environments to support threat detection, prioritization, and response. Cortex XSIAM is designed to centralize security data, analytics, and incident workflows. Cyderes will layer its Meridian entity fabric and managed services onto the platforms to support onboarding, ongoing operations and security programs spanning endpoint, cloud and identity. The partnership gives Palo Alto Networks another services-led route into enterprise SOC modernization projects and expands Cyderes' role across the vendor's security portfolio, including identity security through Idira. For customers, the practical value will depend on how effectively the combined offering reduces tool sprawl, improves operational visibility, and fits existing security processes without forcing a full rebuild of the SOC.

Chris Schueler of Cyderes honored as a 'Security Innovator' for 2026 by Security Business magazine and SecurityInfoWatch.

Chris Schueler of Cyderes honored as a 'Security Innovator' for 2026 by Security Business magazine and SecurityInfoWatch. July 21, 2026 KANSAS CITY, Mo., July X, 2026 (PR NEWSWIRE) - Chris Schueler, CEO of Cyderes, a global managed cybersecurity services partner, has been named a 2026 Security Innovator by SecurityInfoWatch.com and Security Business magazine. The Security Innovator Awards program, presented by EndeavorB2B's Security Business, SecurityInfoWatch and Security Executive brands, is fully peer-nominated and recognizes the innovative contributions made by individuals in the security industry, from integrators to consultants to practitioners to manufacturers and service providers. The award is open to anyone in the industry to recognize a colleague or partner for being innovative. "It is truly an honor to be recognized as an innovator in the cybersecurity field," said Schueler. "This company was already building something real when I got here. What I've tried to do is push the team toward a harder question: how do we actually get ahead of adversaries instead of just detecting them faster? 'Be Everyday Ready(TM)' is what that looks like in practice, readiness our people build in before the crisis, not something we switch on during one. Over the past 20 months, that work became Meridian, a data entity fabric that connects Managed Detection & Response (MDR), Identity & Access Management (IAM), and Exposure Management around shared context instead of forcing analysts to stitch each one together by hand, and Howler Cell, the threat intelligence, hunting, and offensive security team we built to work as one unit instead of three. None of it is new for the sake of new. It's proof of the same principle we run on: with clients, not for clients." With over 25 years at the leading edge of cybersecurity and cloud innovation, Schueler is guided by a deep commitment to empowering teams and driving industry excellence. That leadership foundation was forged during his military service, where he learned the value of discipline, resilience, and service. Those principles continue to shape his approach today. "The Security Innovator Awards recognize the people who are moving our industry forward through fresh thinking, creativity, and real-world leadership," said Steve Lasky, editorial director of SecurityInfoWatch. "What makes this program especially meaningful is that it's the security industry's only 100% peer-nominated award, giving professionals the opportunity to recognize colleagues and partners whose innovations are making a genuine impact. There is no greater compliment than being nominated by those who know your work best. These awards celebrate the individuals shaping the future of security - one innovative idea at a time."
