Requirements
  • High school diploma required; AS or BS in Engineering preferred.
  • 5+ years of frontline supervisory experience in manufacturing.
  • Strong electrical and mechanical background; experience in metals or specialty manufacturing preferred.
  • Knowledge of high-voltage distribution systems; PLCs, drives, and controls a plus.
  • Proficiency with industrial electrical/mechanical testing and repairs.
  • Strong computer, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and work effectively across all levels of the organization.
Responsibilities
  • Supervise and provide daily direction to maintenance personnel.
  • Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment and systems.
  • Analyze equipment failures, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
  • Manage ordering and inventory of repair materials and spare parts.
  • Support upgrades to plant infrastructure, including power, water, air, and gas distribution systems.
  • Assist in capital expenditure planning by evaluating equipment performance and recommending improvements.
  • Ensure all work complies with safety, environmental, and quality policies.
  • Interpret technical specifications and blueprints to guide repairs and upgrades.
  • Provide training and mentorship for department personnel.
  • Maintain first-class housekeeping and enforce operational standards.
