Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and advanced MS Excel skills
Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
  • Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Coordinate and manage the annual budgeting process, including forecasting and variance analysis.
  • Lead the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
  • Manage cash flow and working capital to optimize financial performance.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
  • Collaborate with external auditors and manage the annual audit process.
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Implement and maintain accounting software and other financial management tools.
  • Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks.
