About the role
We are looking for a strong V&V Strategy Engineer to drive Verification & Validation (V&V) efforts for ADAS work. Your role will focus on ensuring that the systems and components meet all required specifications, standards, and customer expectations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to define testing criteria, develop test plans, and oversee the execution of both verification and validation processes. Your work will be critical to enable our development of a production-ready software for on-road vehicles.

At Applied Intuition, you will:
- Develop and maintain the V&V strategy for automotive systems
- Collaborate with system development teams to understand system requirements and define appropriate verification and validation plans
- Design, develop, and implement test plans with System Test Engineers
- Utilize various testing methodologies and Applied’s tools to conduct functional, non-functional, regression, and performance testing in simulation and on-road
- Analyze test results, identify issues and trends, and work with engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve problems
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and quality management systems
- Document all V&V activities and provide comprehensive reports to stakeholders
- Provide release recommendation based on test results
We’re looking for someone who has:
- Strong understanding of automotive systems and components, particularly in areas such as ADAS, infotainment, powertrain, and vehicle control systems
- Proficiency in testing methodologies, tools, and processes related to automotive systems
- Experience with HIL and SIL testing environments
- Experience in in-vehicle testing
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities, with experience working in cross-functional teams
Nice to have:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in V&V testing in the automotive industry
- Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., ISO 26262, ASPICE) and regulatory requirements
Compensation at Applied Intuition for eligible roles includes base salary, equity, and benefits. Base salary is a single component of the total compensation package, which may also include equity in the form of options and/or restricted stock units, comprehensive health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance coverage, 401k retirement benefits with employer match, learning and wellness stipends, and paid time off. Note that benefits are subject to change and may vary based on jurisdiction of employment.
Applied Intuition pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum intended target base salary for new hire salaries for the position. The actual base salary offered to a successful candidate will additionally be influenced by a variety of factors including experience, credentials & certifications, educational attainment, skill level requirements, interview performance, and the level and scope of the position.
