Requirements
  • Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Architectural, Mechanical, or Construction Engineering; experience considered in lieu of a degree
  • 3+ years of relevant plumbing systems design experience
  • Are proficient in the use of Revit modeling tools (required)
  • Have knowledge of plumbing codes and experience with plumbing calculations and sizing and selecting equipment
  • Are comfortable managing multiple project deadlines
  • Love the opportunity to wear lots of hats and work together as a team and independently
  • Possess successful verbal and written communication skills
  • Have the ability to meet fast-paced deadlines while maintaining quality design
  • Enjoy travel to job sites - opportunities to travel
Responsibilities
  • Technical design and construction administration on assigned sector projects
  • Assisting in the production of construction documents (drawing and specifications) for new buildings, renovations and additions to existing facilities
  • Adhering to project schedule and budget
  • Reviewing submittals and RFIs; other construction administration responsibilities as needed
  • Providing plumbing design and coordination of overall project design with other disciplines, including civil
  • Collaborating with staff on design and practice standards
  • Building and maintaining positive client relationships
