Requirements
  • Currently enrolled as a junior in a higher education program (college or university): Business, Economics, Finance, and related majors preferred
  • To be considered for the intern position, applicant must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis upon hire. PitchBook will not consider candidates for this position who require sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future (e.g., H-1B status). The company may in its sole discretion extend your contract for a further fixed term period(s) to be agreed by you and the Company
Responsibilities
  • Gather and verify information through web research and manage the information in our research database
  • Research events and information pertaining to the private equity and venture capital industries (e.g., details on deals, acquired companies, company sites, and investment firms)
  • Leverage our in-house database, business intelligence reports, and other technology-based tools to ensure that proprietary data is audited and added to the PitchBook Platform efficiently
  • Learn and develop research tracking methodologies to ensure that data is of the utmost quality
  • Regularly collaborate with other data operations team members to learn about different datasets and help with various data quality initiatives
  • Communicate effectively and efficiently with your team and other stakeholders to provide updates on project progress, address roadblocks, and celebrate wins
  • Support the vision and values of the company through role modeling and encouraging desired behaviors
  • Participate in various company initiatives and projects as requested
  • Participate in a Career Readiness program to develop fundamental skills important for early-career employees
