About Numeric
Numeric is building the modern accounting & finance platform. Companies today depend on Numeric’s workflow and data platform to collaborate, monitor and analyze data, and share insights about their financials.
We believe an organization with up-to-date, accurate, rich financial data is empowered to move faster and smarter. Unfortunately, the tools and systems have not been keeping up. The complexity of work and granularity of data has ballooned and old, slow software and simplistic tools only facilitate the manual work; they do little to solve the fundamental challenges of accounting and finance.
As a product-focused company, we know that a great product and engineering team can build the tools to give our users superpowers. We work to free people from the manual and the tedious, and to bring delight to their work.
Numeric is backed by Menlo Ventures, Founders Fund, IVP, 8VC, Long Journey Ventures, and others as well as founders from Ramp, Segment, and more. We just closed a 28M Series A and are growing quickly!
About the role
We’re growing rapidly and looking for a Technical Recruiter who enjoys getting hands-on and contributing across various roles to best support the business. You’ll start by focusing on ramping up our Go-To-Market (GTM) functions, with the expectation that you’ll also support technical recruiting as needed. You will work closely with our founding recruiter as a two-person juggernaut and therefore have significant impact and ownership over the recruiting process.
As a company that values our people as a core differentiator, you will play a pivotal role with the autonomy to lead and shape recruiting strategies for our GTM functions. You will know how to move fast while ensuring quality and consistently be a champion raising the talent bar. You’ll know how to incorporate data into your workflows to maximize output. You’ll partner with co-founders and department heads to identify, and close candidates all while providing exceptional candidate experience.
We are an in-person culture (5x/week in office). As an in-person talent champion, you have the opportunity, and desire, to help shape our office culture and environment.
What you’ll do
Drive Recruitment Strategy: Own the full-cycle recruiting process for a variety of Go-To-Market (GTM) roles, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer management.
Collaborate with Stakeholders: Partner closely with founders, hiring managers, and team leads to understand hiring needs and provide strategic recruiting guidance.
Proactively Source Top Talent: Use innovative sourcing techniques to build and maintain a pipeline of high-quality candidates, targeting passive talent and competitive markets.
Foster an Exceptional Candidate Experience: Ensure every candidate experiences a smooth, transparent, and engaging process, representing the company’s values at every stage.
Adapt to a Fast-Paced Environment: Adjust quickly to shifting priorities and take an agile approach to the recruiting process as the company evolves.
Develop and Optimize Recruiting Processes: Build and refine scalable recruiting processes to maintain efficiency and high standards as we grow.
About You:
Proven Recruiting Expertise: You have experience (3+ years) leading full-cycle recruitment, particularly in fast-growing environments, and can drive strategy and execution for multiple roles simultaneously.
Highly Adaptable: You thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where priorities can shift quickly, and you embrace change with a flexible, problem-solving attitude.
Strong Stakeholder Management: You are comfortable partnering with leadership and hiring managers, influencing decisions, and providing strategic recommendations.
Proactive Sourcing Skills: resourceful in using non-traditional methods to identify and attract candidates who align with the Numeric’s values and goals. Plan, and put in the elbow grease, to strengthen inbound and outbound channels.
Exceptional Communication and Relationship-Building Skills: You excel at building relationships with candidates and internal stakeholders, and you have a high degree of emotional intelligence (EQ).
Strong organizational skills: maintain focus and ensure an efficient hiring process.
Ownership-Driven: comfortable working independently, taking ownership of building pipelines, creating processes, and driving improvements.
