As a Mobile Developer Support Engineer, your role will be to provide outstanding support to our customers by addressing their technical issues. You will act as a trusted technical voice and product expert, working with customers to resolve their issues, answer their technical questions, and create code samples. You will closely collaborate with your colleagues in enterprise success and other teams, including engineering and product.

Who You Are

• You prioritize the customer experience and have a customer-centric mindset.
• You possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• You have extensive knowledge and understanding of React Native.
• You have experience working with complex React Native applications.
• Ideally, you have experience in mobile development for both iOS and Android.
• Experience working with other mobile development frameworks or native iOS/Android is a plus, but we also value willingness to learn and grow.
• You are familiar with mobile and web technologies in general and are willing to learn.
• You have excellent English communication skills, both oral and written.
• You can work independently with a high degree of autonomy.
• You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or have equivalent practical experience.

What You Will Do

As a Mobile Developer Support Engineer, you will help other developers successfully integrate Scandit SDK into their apps. You will work with the developer teams of our US-based customers, focusing on a variety of mobile technologies, particularly React Native and native iOS. Some of your tasks will include:

• Communicating with external developers through email, ticketing systems, discussion boards, and video calls to solve problems.
• Collaborating closely with the engineering team to identify and fix bugs, and improve sample applications to ensure smooth integration for our customers.
• Alongside other support engineers, maintaining our FAQs to provide a comprehensive resource for our users.

What You Can Expect

• Core working hours with limited on-call duties.
• While most internal communication occurs asynchronously (via Slack, Zendesk, Jira), you will need to have some overlap with colleagues, primarily based in the CET timezone.
• This role is remote, but you may occasionally be asked to visit customers on-site to provide assistance. Part of your onboarding might take place in Europe.
