IT Project Lead

You Have:
5+ years of experience with executing in Agile methodologies
Experience identifying and managing programmatic risks, developing mitigation strategies, and conducting risk assessments and contingency planning
Experience in resource allocation and expense forecasting to maintain a pulse on the expenses to optimize resource allocation to stay within budget
Experience managing software development and schedules and authoring or reviewing contract deliverables such as leading quality assurance reviews based on quality standards, Analysis of Alternatives, or Increment Planning to ensure on-time, quality software delivery
Experience developing and mentoring staff at all levels and building an internal capacity to deliver high-quality and highly innovative analytics services
Experience working and collaborating with clients, technical staff, and engineers, including pitching new technology, ideas, and concepts
Knowledge of cloud and automation solutions: Container Orchestration, Configuration as Code, and Infrastructure as Code
Top Secret clearance
Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience as a software or technical project manager, or 9+ years of experience as a software or technical project manager in lieu of a degree
DoD 8570 Certification, including CompTIA Security+
Nice If You Have:
Experience as a Scrum Master, Lead Architect, or Lead Business Analyst
Experience leading technical teams in the implementation of enterprise applications
Experience with backend web languages, including Python, Node, PHP or Ruby
Experience with server-side application development using Java or C#
Experience with Release Management
Experience with the DoD or intelligence community
Experience with Business Process Improvement or Reengineering
Knowledge of DevSecOps releases and technologies
Ability to identify risks proactively, recommend mitigating actions, and drive them to resolution
PMP and Agile Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
