We are looking for Software Engineers who are excited to apply their talents to delivering cutting-edge solutions to our customer’s challenging projects. The ideal candidate is a recognized professional with hands-on technical expertise with a good understanding of technical engineering concepts. You have demonstrated experience in writing consistently high-quality code using industry best practices.

Position location is on-site at prime’s office in Broomfield, Colorado 5 days per week.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain web applications using TypeScript and React
• Create backend services and APIs using either Java or Python
• Implement and manage the streaming of data to clients
• Design and deploy event-driven architectures to facilitate scalable and responsive applications
• Utilize steaming framework to efficiently manage data flow and processing

Required Skills and Experience:

• Clearance Required: Secret
  • This position requires the ability to obtain a DOD Secret Clearance. Interim or Active DOD Secret clearance or higher is preferred
  • Due to the clearance requirement, U.S. Citizenship is required
  • Candidate also must agree to participate in a background screen
• BS or advanced degree in Computer Science or similar relevant field
• 5 to 10 years of experience specifically in a software engineering role
  • An advanced degree (eg: Masters, PhD) provides two years of experience

Preferred Experience:

• TypeScript: Proficiency in building and maintaining large-scale TypeScript applications
• React: Experience with React for developing dynamic interfaces
• Event-Driven Architecture: Experience designing, implementing and managing event-driven systems
• Java or Python: Solid experience in building and maintaining backend services using either Java or Python
• Streaming Data to Clients: Proficiency in streaming data directly to clients for real-time updates
• Streaming Framework: Familiarity with asl leas one streaming framework (e.g. Apache Kafka, ZeroMQ)
• Optional, WebGL: Experience with WebGL for creating advanced graphics and visualizations in web applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as software architects, program managers, designers, and other engineers to design, develop and test software solution that meet the needs of our customers
• Analyze user requirements and develop software specifications
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that follows software development best practices
• Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to other engineers
• Debug and fix issues
• Develop and execute test plans to ensure software quality
• Experience with the use of Agile techniques and associated tools
• Deploy software applications to production environments and maintain support documentation

Salary Range: In compliance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role is $115,000 to $175,000 annually. This is not a guarantee of compensation. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate’s relevant work experience, skills, and education / certifications.
