Requirements
  • At least 2 years of solution-based selling experience involving products and/or services.
  • Outside sales experience with direct end-user accounts.
  • At least 2 years of proven success selling technology or related projects in a territory-based assignment.
  • Understanding of key technology solutions and offerings.
  • Working knowledge of, or the ability to quickly learn and reliably use, Salesforce platforms, MEDDICC selling methodology, and the Force Management sales process.
  • Demonstrated experience in a sales hunter role where quota or growth targets depend heavily on gaining new business.
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • A clean driving record and access to a personal vehicle or reliable transportation.
  • Comfort adopting emerging artificial intelligence tools and technologies to optimize processes, improve collaboration, and drive operational effectiveness.
Responsibilities
  • Service existing clients in the territory and generate new customer relationships by selling NWN Carousel offerings within a specific geography or vertical market.
  • Meet or exceed the assigned annual quota, typically between $500,000 and $1 million.
  • Participate in business development and demand-generation activities to support customer growth.
  • Follow NWN Carousel's core selling models and tools, including the Force Management techniques and processes and the MEDDICC methodology for field sales.
  • Research accounts and prospects to understand their organizational functions, target customers and markets, business transactions, key decision makers, existing value-added reseller relationships, key financial metrics, and information technology budgets.
  • Represent NWN Carousel professionally and ethically.
  • Develop relationships with focus manufacturer representatives covering the assigned territory or vertical.
  • Develop relationships with multiple decision makers within accounts, especially at the C-suite level.
  • Understand the information technology strategy and current and upcoming projects of assigned accounts.
  • Communicate NWN Carousel's value proposition to key stakeholders within assigned accounts.
  • Introduce NWN Carousel content experts, including solution architects, offering leaders, offering technical leads, and executives, to key stakeholders within assigned accounts.
  • Stay current with partner registration programs and incentives.
  • Use the company's customer relationship management and prospecting tools as directed by sales management.
  • Maintain consistent contact with assigned accounts.
  • Build a personal brand within the territory.
  • Grow business from a standing start.
  • Cold-call within the assigned territory or market to identify new customers and projects.
  • Work with internal and external resources to develop and sell new solutions.
  • Work with pre-sales teams to develop proposals and statements of work for NWN Carousel solutions.
  • Forecast business regularly and accurately using the company customer relationship management tool.
  • Meet regularly with offerings teams and assigned customers to promote NWN Carousel solutions and services.
  • Attend and facilitate marketing events relevant to the NWN Carousel sales team.
  • Attend company-facilitated training and business meetings.
  • Complete other responsibilities as assigned.
