Requirements
  • Diploma or Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering
  • Minimum 15+ years of MEA/UAE CAD drafting experience in roads, highways, road signs & marking, etc.
  • Software experience required: AutoCAD, Autodesk Civil 3D, KeyLINES & SIGNS, Vehicle Tracking & Navisworks are must.
  • Prepare MIDP, TIDP and contribute to the BIM execution plan.
  • Common Data Environment: Autodesk Construction Cloud & BIM360.
Responsibilities
  • Responsible to produce / review highway deliverable such as Roadway layout, Plan & profiles, Signs & Road Markings, Kerbs & footways, Pavement drawings, Setting out details, Typical Cross Sections, Standard details etc.
  • Responsible to work on Highway drawings independently and able to guide junior staff on Highway drawings and models.
  • Responsible to check the drawings produced by the Junior staffs within the team.
  • Responsible to ensure the deliverables are quality checked and documented.
  • Responsible to manage the Highways discipline 3D model and review model quality.
  • Responsible to work with the Information Manager and project teams to assist during Inter disciplinary checks and co-ordination with discipline leads.
  • Undertake self-checking and assist with technical checks of work undertaken by the team.
  • Provide quality control for compliance to company/project standards of deliverables.
  • Work with the Information Manager and project teams to assist in the development and implementation of BIM strategies, BIM Execution Plans, workflows, and processes on projects in accordance with Atkins Corporate Standards, Client requirements and industry best practice.
  • Interface with our project Manager / Discipline leads to understand scope and agree appropriate delivery approach.
  • Collaborate with project team across disciplines to ensure design coordination and delivery to agreed scope.
  • Chair and actively contribute to internal coordination sessions, clash resolution, design integration reviews and external presentations / reporting to various offices of Atkins.
  • Compliance with Quality, Safety, Environment, and governance procedures, thus ensuring work produced is technically accurate and delivered in accordance with the appropriate standards.
  • Maintain a high level of competency in all BIM software tools used at AtkinsRéalis.
Desired Qualifications
  • Understanding of engineering standards, codes of practice and local authorities' guidelines in Abu Dhabi. Also, should be conversant with international design standards like AASHTO and KSA, QHDM standards and guidelines.
  • Good knowledge in BIM, understand LOD requirements and BIM processes.
  • Ability to communicate clearly in English.

Management maintained 2026 guidance for 5-7% organic revenue growth in engineering services and projected $2.50 billion in nuclear revenue. AtkinsRéalis Group, a world-class engineering services and nuclear company, reported fourth-quarter revenue of $2.9 billion, up 13% year-over-year, with full-year revenue reaching $11.0 billion, up 14%. AtkinsRéalis Services revenue increased 17% in Q4 and 16% for the full year. The company achieved diluted earnings per share from Professional Services & Project Management of $2.14 for 2025, up 80%, whilst adjusted diluted EPS reached $3.36, up 88%. Full-year operating cash flow totalled $461 million, and backlog reached a record $21.2 billion as at 31 December 2025. For 2026, AtkinsRéalis expects Engineering Services Regions organic revenue growth of 5-7% and Nuclear revenue of approximately $2.5 billion. Operating cash flow is projected at roughly $500 million.

Ferrovial Buys 5.06% 407 ETR Stake

Ferrovial is set to increase its stake in 407 ETR to 48.29% by acquiring up to 5.06% from AtkinsRéalis for [CAD]2.09 billion. The deal includes a 3.30% acquisition at closing and a 1.76% deferred stake via a put and call option.
