The Role

We’re seeking a Project Coordinator to own and drive innovation and improvement projects across our Geochemistry business. This role is focused on turning ideas into operational outcomes—ensuring projects move from concept through testing to full implementation.

You’ll work closely with laboratory teams, technical specialists, and external suppliers to keep projects on track, aligned, and delivering real value to the business.
 

The day to day

In this role, you’ll:

• Lead end-to-end delivery of innovation projects alongside BAU operations
• Coordinate small project teams, providing structure, direction, and momentum
• Engage stakeholders and suppliers to ensure clear scope and delivery alignment
• Manage timelines, risks, and changes to keep projects progressing
• Maintain project plans, documentation, and registers (risks, issues, actions)
• Support prototype testing, feedback, and implementation into operations
• Track progress, costs, and outcomes against project objectives
• Prepare clear updates and reporting for leadership
• Escalate risks or delays early to avoid impact to delivery
• Contribute to continuous improvement across lab operations
• Travel occasionally to regional and remote laboratory sites to support project delivery

We’re looking for someone who brings:

• Strong project coordination or project management experience
• Ability to take ownership and drive projects through to delivery
• Confident stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
• Highly organised approach with strong attention to detail
• Proactive, solutions-focused mindset
• Strong communication skills and ability to work across teams
• Experience coordinating small teams or cross-functional contributors
   

The following skills would be considered advantageous:

• Exposure to laboratory, geochemistry, or operational environments
• Mechanical, manufacturing, or process-driven experience
