Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related technical discipline is required.
  • At least 10 years of experience supporting systems architecture, enterprise engineering, or systems integration efforts within Department of Defense, Intelligence Community, or Federal environments is required.
  • Strong knowledge of systems engineering methodologies, enterprise architecture principles, and distributed systems design is required.
  • Experience supporting cloud technologies, infrastructure modernization, cybersecurity integration, and enterprise IT systems is required.
  • Familiarity with systems lifecycle processes, including requirements management, verification, validation, and operational sustainment, is required.
  • Experience developing technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and engineering analyses is required.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies, DevSecOps practices, and digital engineering concepts is required.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills are required.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced mission environments is required.
  • An active Secret clearance is required.
  • A master's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline is required.
  • Experience supporting Air Force, Space Force, Intelligence Community, cyber, intelligence-surveillance-and-reconnaissance, or defense modernization initiatives is required.
  • Expertise with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform is required.
  • Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering tools and methodologies is required.
  • Knowledge of Zero Trust architectures, Risk Management Framework, National Institute of Standards and Technology cybersecurity standards, and secure systems engineering practices is required.
  • Experience with artificial-intelligence- or machine-learning-enabled systems, data analytics platforms, or digital transformation initiatives is required.
  • Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Certified Information Systems Security Professional, The Open Group Architecture Framework, Security+, SAFe Agilist, or INCOSE CSEP/ESEP are required.
  • Experience supporting proposal efforts, technical capture management, or business development initiatives is required.
Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and development of enterprise and mission systems architectures supporting defense and intelligence operations.
  • Develop architecture frameworks, technical roadmaps, interface designs, and systems integration strategies.
  • Support full systems lifecycle engineering activities, including requirements analysis, system design, integration, testing, deployment, and sustainment.
  • Architect solutions involving cloud platforms, enterprise IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, networking, software systems, and mission applications.
  • Conduct technical trade studies, risk analyses, performance evaluations, and technology assessments to support mission objectives.
  • Collaborate with government stakeholders and cross-functional technical teams to translate operational requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Support digital engineering, Agile development, DevSecOps, and Model-Based Systems Engineering initiatives.
  • Ensure interoperability, security, and compliance across enterprise and mission environments.
  • Support cloud migration, infrastructure modernization, Zero Trust implementation, and secure systems engineering efforts.
  • Develop architecture documentation, technical reports, executive briefings, and implementation plans.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering and mission support teams.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions to improve operational effectiveness and mission resilience.
  • Support proposal development, technical solutioning, capture activities, and business development initiatives as required.
