Requirements
- Proficiency in Python programming with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles
- Extensive experience with the Qt framework for designing and developing application interfaces
- Passion for UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
- Proven ability to create mockups and rapid prototypes
- Experience in using version control systems such as Git
- Ability to write clean, readable, and maintainable code
Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-quality user interfaces using Python and the Qt framework
- Rapidly prototype new user interfaces via mockups to streamline the discovery and review process
- Create and maintain reusable code and widgets for use among various internal tools and third-party host applications
- Optimize application UX for speed and discoverability, defining a common look and feel throughout the studio
- Conduct UI tests to surface, debug and resolve usability and functionality issues
- Work as part of the pipeline team to help developers choose and integrate common UI components across the entire set of pipeline tools
- Provide guidance and support to other team members in UI design and development best practices
