Requirements
  • 3+ years of IBM i (AS400/iSeries) development experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred
  • Strong experience with RPG IV / RPGLE, CL, SQL, and DB2 for i
  • Experience supporting or developing Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
  • Knowledge of inventory control, shipping, receiving, picking, packing, and distribution processes
  • Experience with EDI, APIs, or system integrations
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and support IBM i / AS400 warehouse management applications.
  • Design and modify RPG, RPGLE, CL, SQL, and DB2 programs related to warehouse operations.
  • Support WMS integrations with ERP systems, handheld RF devices, barcode scanners, shipping systems, and third-party logistics providers.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolution for warehouse and distribution operations.
  • Participate in system upgrades, testing, deployments, and change management processes.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for applications, interfaces, and procedures.
  • Collaborate with warehouse operations teams to identify process improvements and automation opportunities.
  • Monitor system performance and ensure application stability and data integrity.
  • Assist with after-hours support as needed for critical warehouse operations.
