Requirements
  • Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
  • Seven (7) years of relevant experience in information security and training in accordance with DoD 8140 requirements for Information Assurance professionals at IAM Level 2
  • Willingness to travel as required by the government and coordinated after contract award; contractor travel expenses authorized in accordance with the Joint Travel Regulation and contract funding limitations
Responsibilities
  • Serve as the contact at National Guard Bureau Air National Guard for issues involving collateral or sensitive compartmented information security matters; coordinate with DoD agencies and national-level organizations to evaluate, guide, and adjust ANG unit programs to meet changing needs and requirements
  • Assist the Security Office with researching, interpreting, analyzing, and applying Presidential Executive Orders, Intelligence Community Directives, Defense Intelligence Agency Manuals, Department of Defense Manuals, Air Force Manuals, Air Force Instructions, and Operating Instructions
  • Provide support and guidance for physical and information security issues for National Guard Bureau and Air National Guard units
  • Assist the ANG Security Office with supervision and management of the ANG SCI program to maximize productivity and quality
  • Assist the ANG Security Office with enforcement of all operational, functional, and mission assurance aspects of the program
  • Ensure security disciplines of information, personnel, and industrial security fully converge to meet mission requirements in the Special Security Program
  • Coordinate compliance activities between all ANG units and the Air Force Security Service Office IAW DoD 5105.21-V1-3 as directed by government
  • Oversee ANG SCI program in accordance with DoD 5105.21-V1-3
  • Work with MAJCOM Security Officers on SCI policies, directives, and procedures and disseminate changes to field units
  • Develop and conduct security education, establish security profiles; review and disseminate SCI message traffic and other products for ANG customers
  • Assist ANG Security Office with pre-construction, concept approval, and accreditation processes for ANG SCI Facilities (Special Compartmented Information Facilities)
  • Assist ANG Security Office with management and maintenance of intelligence reference files including all applicable SCI directives, regulations, manuals, guidelines, reports, and correspondence
  • Brief ANG SSO on new and impending changes to national SCI policies and, as directed, all ANG units
  • Forward SCI access certifications on cleared personnel worldwide to SCI security personnel at visited locations
  • Conduct SCI foreign travel briefings, investigations and manage all aspects of the security violation program
  • Provide guidance to SCI indoctrinated personnel on proper handling, transport, marking, and protection of SCI
  • Travel to ANG units for SCIF inspections, personnel and industrial security training/inspections, site visits, and SATAFs
  • Assist the ANG Security Office with coordinating and conducting information security program reviews and staff assistance visits to subordinate organizations; monitor field units for regulatory compliance
  • Provide guidance, education, and training required for subordinate organizational mission success
  • Apply AF Information Security Program policies and procedures for protection of classified information and material to ensure mission assurance
  • Establish and revise methods to review actions quantitatively and ensure legal and regulatory compliance issues and customer concerns are addressed
  • Provide technical recommendations on the Information Security Program to peer program managers
  • Conduct program assistance visits for areas assigned to support operational needs throughout the command
  • Assist SSO and Information Protection Branch Chief with training Top Secret Control Officers, Program Managers, and security specialists on their tasks
  • Update security pamphlets, instructions, guidelines, and command policies at least annually as directed
  • Assist National Guard Bureau and Air National Guard unit level Personnel, Industrial Security, and Information Protection Office to converge information, personnel, and industrial security disciplines to meet ANG and AF mission requirements
  • Support Personnel and Industrial Security Program Managers to ensure coordination among programs and unified mission capabilities

OBXtek today announced that the Company's Board of Directors has appointed Aaron Drabkin as its new President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective April 3, 2026. OBXtek awarded subcontract under MRATS program. OBXtek today announced that the Company was awarded a role as a subcontractor to Advanced Concepts Enterprises, Inc. (ACEs) under the Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC), Mission Readiness and Training Support Services (MRATS) contract. "This win is in line with our goal of growing our footprint within the AFSOC community. We're proud support our warfighters and help ensure mission readiness" said Dale Spencer, President and CEO. AFSOC provides Air Force special operations forces for worldwide deployment and assignment to regional unified commands.
