Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline is preferred
- Minimum 5 years experience in a customer facing technical role
- Strong public speaking skills and experience with presenting to audiences of mixed technical backgrounds
- Proficient knowledge of Linux-based operating systems
- Proficient knowledge of TCP/IP networking, routing, and information security strategies
- Coding experience in Python and/or C++
- Ability to accommodate 30%-50% travel
- Experience with some variety of wireless digital communication systems such as WiFi deployment, mesh radio networks, or cellular systems
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record
- Ambulatory movement with the ability to lift 70lbs
- Valid Passport
- Familiarity with industrial security and safety standards such as NIST, ISTM, CE, RoHS a plus
- Experience working with public sector customers (DoD, 3-letter agencies, police, federal and municipal government) a significant plus
Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging but technically-focused in-person demonstrations of our robots' capabilities to a wide variety of audiences
- Become the customer's trusted advisor, providing a realistic perspective on what is possible with mobile autonomy without sacrificing the momentum of excitement that our robots bring
- Interface with our customers' information technology and information security teams to address their questions and requirements for incorporating Spot into their enterprise networks
- Leverage ecosystem knowledge to recommend any appropriate actions, pre-requisites, or 3rd-party additions to the sum total of a solution that involves our robots
- Training customers and partners on our robots' integration capabilities (API, electrical, and mechanical) in order to build applications and payloads that fit their mission
- Fulfill requests for information (RFIs) from customers, serve as the single point of contact for security and compliance inquiries, and draft memorandums of understanding (MOUs,) as well as CRADAs
- Interface with product management to provide constructive customer feedback, addressing common blockers to widespread adoption
