Requirements
  • A high school diploma, General Educational Development certificate, or equivalent is required.
  • Open availability is required, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years old.
  • Applicants must provide evidence of employment eligibility in the United States.
  • Applicants must pass a mandatory drug test, criminal background check, and credit check.
  • Applicants must be able to obtain a California gambling establishment employee permit.
  • Applicants must be able to lift and carry tools, supplies, and inventory weighing up to 25 pounds.
  • Applicants must be able to perform all essential duties with or without accommodation.
  • Attention to detail is required to control table games with no more than two mistakes for any table game during a three-month period.
  • Applicants must maintain an appropriate number of hands per down while staying within 5% of the mean hands per down for each table game offered.
Responsibilities
  • Establish and change betting limits to maximize table-game revenue.
  • Determine when and why to open tables.
  • Learn and apply all casino house rules, policies, and procedures.
  • Maintain the integrity of all offered games by making consistent table rulings in the best interest of the game.
  • Create efficient and fair dealer rotations on the casino floor.
  • Enforce established on-table policies and procedures.
  • Provide customer service to casino guests.
  • Complete interactive training covering cardroom table games and procedures.
  • Control table games while dealing.
  • Maintain an appropriate number of hands per down while dealing.
  • Report to work consistently and collaborate with guests and teammates.
