Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience working with software-as-a-service platforms and cloud-based systems.
  • Experience creating process maps, gathering business requirements, writing functional specifications, creating test plans, and writing test scripts.
  • At least 3 years of experience in insurance claims and claims systems, such as Origami, Guidewire, Equisoft, or Pega.
Responsibilities
  • Execute configuration and build tickets from the Claims technology JIRA backlog as prioritized by the Staff Technical Program Manager.
  • Configure, customize, and maintain the Origami core claims platform.
  • Create, modify, and maintain end-user dashboards, mail merge templates, and online state forms within the core adjudication system.
  • Test configured integrations with third-party solutions, including medical bill review, pharmacy benefit management, payment processing, fraud detection, and digital mailroom systems.
  • Manage platform security protocols, including roles, profiles, sharing rules, permission sets, and license assignment.
  • Maintain the Origami vendor directory for 1099 accuracy and reporting.
  • Construct solutions using reports, dashboards, workflow automation, and declarative and programmatic platform functionality.
  • Develop test scripts and test data based on UAT plans and acceptance criteria.
  • Execute test scenarios for system enhancements, feature deployments, Origami releases, and integration updates.
  • Document test results, defects, and resolution steps for development team action.
  • Support user acceptance testing sessions by coordinating logistics, managing defect tracking, and ensuring timely resolution.
  • Validate system configurations against documented specifications before UAT handoff.
  • Troubleshoot claims system issues, identify root causes, implement fixes, or escalate issues to Enterprise Technology and vendor support.
  • Monitor system performance, identify recurring issues, and recommend solutions to improve stability and reliability.
  • Document and maintain system configurations and customizations.
  • Coordinate with Enterprise Technology and Origami Support on platform issues, upgrades, and patches.
  • Maintain documentation of system architecture, data flows, and integration touchpoints.
  • Collaborate with Claims Data Analysis & Reporting to ensure claim data accuracy in Origami.
  • Build and maintain system-level reports and data extracts.
  • Collaborate with Compliance and EDI specialists on state electronic reporting and CMS Section 111 reporting.
  • Identify and resolve data quality issues caused by system configuration or integration errors.
  • Partner with Enterprise Technology on technical execution, platform capabilities, and infrastructure needs.
  • Coordinate with the Claims L&D Specialist so completed system changes are documented for training development.
  • Collaborate with Claims Vendor Management and external vendors on technical implementation and integration support.
  • Support the Staff Technical Program Manager and Claims leadership in defining project scope, schedule, and resource requirements.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline system processes and reduce redundancies.
  • Recommend system enhancements and automation opportunities based on inefficiencies and user feedback.
  • Contribute technical feasibility input and platform knowledge to requirements discussions.
  • Stay current with platform updates, new capabilities, and claims technology best practices.
