Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • Spring and fall off-peak travel surges in 2026 align with Roadsurfer's flexible cancellation model[2].
  • 43% of campers plan heritage journeys in 2026, supporting its new curated UK routes and US hubs[2].
  • The 'Rugged Luxury' trend matches Roadsurfer's premium ready-to-go camping packages and modern fleet[6].

What critics are saying

  • Holiday RV and Cruise America expand into Denver and Seattle with lower-cost fleets, squeezing margins within 12 months[2].
  • Sunday closures and $149 service fees cause churn, evidenced by 9,902 negative Trustpilot reviews in 2024[2].
  • 10,000-vehicle target by 2025 risks 20–30% idle capacity if US demand in Phoenix and Salt Lake falters[2].

What makes roadsurfer unique

  • Roadsurfer offers the world's first camper subscription service for 3, 6, or 12 months[3].
  • Its 'roadsurfer spots' app connects travelers to private campsites on farms and vineyards[1][3].
