Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
5 - 8 years of experience in structural inspection, preferably in large-scale industrial or aerospace projects.
Familiarity with the installation and inspection of structural steel components.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective teamwork and client interactions.
Ability to work in physically demanding conditions and heights. Knowledge of relevant construction codes, standards, and safety regulations.

Responsibilities and Duties

Conduct regular inspections of structural steel installation to ensure compliance with engineering specifications, safety standards, and project timelines.
Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and construction teams to provide technical guidance and support on structural matters.
Identify, document, and report any discrepancies, defects, or non-conformance issues to the project management team.
Review and interpret blueprints, structural designs, and construction plans.
Coordinate with quality assurance teams to implement corrective actions and ensure continuous improvement in construction practices.
Maintain detailed records of inspections and prepare reports for project stakeholders.
Stay updated with the latest industry standards, regulations, and best practices in structural engineering and construction.
