How You Will Make an Impact:

The Parts Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring that all parts are ordered, organized, and distributed efficiently, while maintaining optimal stock levels and providing excellent service to internal teams or customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in parts management, leadership skills, and a deep understanding of inventory systems.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage the daily operations of the parts department, ensuring that all functions run smoothly and
• Oversee inventory control by monitoring stock levels, conducting regular cycle counts, and ensuring accurate records are kept.
• Ensure timely ordering and procurement of parts and materials to meet operational needs, while maintaining cost
• Lead, train, and mentor a team of parts clerks and inventory staff to ensure high performance, accuracy, and customer service.
• Coordinate with other departments (e.g., maintenance, production, and customer service) to understand their parts requirements and ensure parts are available when needed.
• Develop and implement procedures to improve inventory management processes, ensuring the accuracy and availability of parts.
• Prepare and manage departmental budgets, focusing on controlling inventory costs and reducing
• Handle and resolve any discrepancies, shortages, or issues related to parts inventory, working closely with suppliers and vendors to find solutions.
• Maintain and update the parts catalog and inventory database to ensure that all information is accurate and up- to-date.
• Conduct audits of inventory, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and company
• Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to internal and external inquiries, assisting with parts requests, and addressing issues.

Minimum Requirements:

• Proven experience in parts management, inventory control, or warehouse operations minimum (3+ years preferred).
• Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a parts department or related
• Strong knowledge of inventory management systems, databases, and software (e.g., ERP, Excel).
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with an ability to multitask and prioritize
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with experience in managing and training
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining attention to
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Knowledge of industry-specific parts (e.g., automotive, construction, manufacturing) is
