  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and 3 – 5 years’ experience in Human Resources.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Outstanding employee relations skills with a strong customer focus.
  • Detail oriented with organizational and time management skills.
  • Proven experience with project development and management through successful completion.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and the ability to conduct meetings or presentations.
  • Ability to communicate with individuals at all levels of the facility.
  • Advanced technology skills, such as MS Office, Workday, and Kronos.
Responsibilities
  • Staffing activities such as: Recruiting, job postings, selection process, orientations, terminations, and retirements.
  • Receive, record, and process daily call-off information.
  • Lead daily meetings with staffing agencies and Supervisors to meet the needs of each department.
  • Manage and/or lead employee engagement activities (e.g. community outreach, fundraisers, focus groups).
  • Training management (i.e. verify ISO training and document retention for internal/external audits).
  • Manage AA/EEO, unemployment, benefits, and workers compensation.
  • Process, file, and maintain employment records according to SBD, federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Attend department, hourly, and salaried meetings as required.
  • Other departmental tasks as assigned by the Director or designee.
