Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Statistics, Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Economics, Marketing, or other quantitative field of study
  • Must be able to work from our Oakbrook, IL office (15 miles west of Chicago) 3 days a week
  • Experience using Python, R , and/or SQL to manipulate and draw insights from data
  • Knowledge of advanced analytical techniques, including multivariate statistics, forecasting, predictive modeling, and cluster analysis
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik)
  • Problem solving and analytical thinking and skills
  • Teamwork and collaboration
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Related internship or co-op experience
Responsibilities
  • The Advanced Analytics team is looking for enthusiastic data science co-ops to lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced analytics solutions supporting CGI's strategic business priorities
  • The Data Visualization Co-op will initiate, manage, and deliver a project, including creating and training statistical models and algorithms and providing insights and user-friendly tools and capabilities to enable data-driven decisions by business stakeholders.
