Requirements
  • Board eligible/certified in Radiation Oncology
  • License to practice medicine in the state of Florida (Florida Medical License or University Medical Faculty Certificate)
  • Familiarity with department procedures and policies
  • Familiarity with the University faculty manual
Responsibilities
  • Engaged in clinical, research, teaching, and administrative activities
  • Participate in department academic and educational activities (morning teaching conferences, morbidity and mortality conference, weekly new patient conference, departmental and cancer center retreats)
  • Active participation in the teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows
  • Give at least one department grand rounds yearly and lecture the residents twice during the year
  • Coordinate care with other services and relevant sites in the UHealth network
  • Participate in Quality Improvement activities for the department
  • Report progress of research projects regularly
