Requirements
- An active New York Registered Nurse license is required.
- Current Basic Life Support certification is required.
- Ventilator and tracheostomy experience is required.
- At least one year of recent pediatric nursing experience in home care, hospital, or acute care is preferred.
- Authorization to work in the United States is required.
- A valid driver's license is preferred.
- A physical examination completed within the last 12 months is required.
- A current PPD or QuantiFERON test within one year, or a chest X-ray within five years if applicable, is required.
- Proof of measles, mumps, and rubella immunity through a laboratory report is required.
Responsibilities
- Provide individualized, high-quality skilled nursing care to pediatric clients in a one-on-one home setting.
- Care for medically complex children in their homes throughout Brooklyn.
- Build meaningful relationships with pediatric patients and their families.
- Work scheduled day, overnight, weekday, or weekend shifts of eight, ten, or twelve hours.
- Collaborate with and receive ongoing support from clinical and administrative teams.
