Requirements

Responsibilities
  • Perform hands-on laboratory work in engineering laboratories.
  • Utilize bespoke machining processes for novel medical device builds and evaluation.
  • Attend and participate in Voice-of-Customer laboratories with surgeons.
  • Work with teams to design key project studies.
  • Test and characterize prototype devices and competitive products.
  • Follow good documentation practices, including writing test protocols, generating final reports, and documenting meeting minutes.
  • Collaborate with engineers and outside suppliers to support project-related activities.
  • Generate 3D models and 3D-print them to support and develop test methods and fixtures.
Desired Qualifications
  • A GPA of 3.0 or higher is strongly preferred.
  • Preferred disciplines include Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Materials Science, and Chemical Engineering.
