Requirements
  • Four (4) year college or university degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business Management or related field preferred
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to quickly communicate and prioritize competing needs of the business
  • Proficient knowledge of Human Resources, policy interpretations and legal requirements
  • Exceptional project management and organization skills and the ability to translate complex issues into straightforward communications
  • Ability to compile information and analyze data to drive decision making
  • Ability to communicate effectively and exercise excellent judgment in disclosing or withholding confidential information
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Possess a high level of problem-solving skill
Responsibilities
  • Counsel employees, leaders, and Functional Partners regarding work and/or personal problems
  • Conducts employee interviews to discuss personnel, human relations, and work-related problems that adversely affect team & employee morale, engagement, health, and productivity
  • Evaluate a variety of people relation issues varying in complexity and meets with stakeholders to present recommendations for resolution
  • Collects and analyzes data themes and effectively creates and communicates strategies and solutions to the business and stakeholders
  • Proactive partnership and coaching with business leaders and functional partners on appropriate actions to improve team health and morale
  • Acts as the key partner to functional partners and managers on coaching, career development, disciplinary actions, and employee relations
  • Assist in executing personnel procedures and policies, providing guidance and interpretation for the business and employees
  • Suggest and implement new procedures and policies to continually improve efficiency and effectiveness of the People Team and organization, and to improve employee experience
  • Prepares and facilitates employee separations and exit interviews
  • Develop, plan, and execute employee engagement activities such as training and focus groups
  • Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, off-boarding, and investigations
  • Oversee the maintenance of functional partner records including new hires, transfers, terminations, job changes, salary adjustments, etc
  • Partners with Functional Partner subject matter experts to effectively answer and resolve all complex inquiries and develop more effective programs and processes
  • Support other Functional Partner functions as needed
