Requirements
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience resolving complex employee relations issues
  • Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or related field
  • Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational design, employee relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws
  • SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential, Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) or ability to obtain certification within one year of employment
  • Must have high integrity and handle HR information with a high degree of confidentiality
  • Deep understanding of federal and state payroll regulations and requirements as well as HR best practices and policies
  • Keen attention to detail, process execution ,and follow-through with excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Simultaneously manage multiple assignments and ability to meet HR milestones
  • Ability to analyze and resolve problems in a logical and effective manner
  • Excellent communication skills in a fast-paced environment consisting of technical, interpersonal, and virtual contact
  • Open-minded and collaborative team player with the willingness to help others

Responsibilities
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with legal as needed/required
  • Partner with senior leadership to develop and implement effective HR policies and practices that will support the strategic growth of the business
  • Educate, coach, and partner with managers on performance management and employee development goals
  • Assist international employees with related HR matters
  • Provide guidance and input on organizational structure, workforce planning, and succession planning
  • Develop, evaluates, and monitors training programs to ensure training objectives are met
  • Participate in the continual development of HR programs, such as retention, compensation, benefits, and learning & development
