Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of experience resolving complex employee relations issues
- Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or related field
- Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational design, employee relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws
- SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential, Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) or ability to obtain certification within one year of employment
- Must have high integrity and handle HR information with a high degree of confidentiality
- Deep understanding of federal and state payroll regulations and requirements as well as HR best practices and policies
- Keen attention to detail, process execution ,and follow-through with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Simultaneously manage multiple assignments and ability to meet HR milestones
- Ability to analyze and resolve problems in a logical and effective manner
- Excellent communication skills in a fast-paced environment consisting of technical, interpersonal, and virtual contact
- Open-minded and collaborative team player with the willingness to help others
- Passionate about self-driving technologies, solving hard problems, and creating innovative solutions
Responsibilities
- Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with legal as needed/required
- Partner with senior leadership to develop and implement effective HR policies and practices that will support the strategic growth of the business
- Educate, coach, and partner with managers on performance management and employee development goals
- Assist international employees with related HR matters
- Provide guidance and input on organizational structure, workforce planning, and succession planning
- Develop, evaluates, and monitors training programs to ensure training objectives are met
- Participate in the continual development of HR programs, such as retention, compensation, benefits, and learning & development
