Requirements
  • Six months of related experience is preferred, including welding and operating powered hand tools.
  • Basic knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic principles is required.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings is required.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds and standing, walking, kneeling, or crouching for extended periods is required.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team is required.
Responsibilities
  • Assemble machines and equipment according to drawings and shop orders.
  • Fasten parts together using bolts, screws, or other fasteners with hand and power tools.
  • Operate presses, grinders, or metal inert gas welders as needed during assembly.
  • Perform inspections to ensure high-quality standards are met.
  • Run and test machines after assembly, and disassemble or rebuild them as required.
  • Perform touch-up painting and minor sheet metal work when necessary.
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts.
  • Comply with safety regulations and maintain a clean, orderly work environment.

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills.
