Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2 years of relevant experience in program planning and administration required
  • Administrative experience planning and coordinating student education, residency programs or fellowship programs strongly desired
  • Computer literacy required with considerable experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint desired
  • Successful completion of a background check required
Responsibilities
  • Oversee and provide day-to-day management of the assigned graduate medical education programs at the institutional level
  • Serve as initial contact
  • Assist with oversight of the program accreditation
  • Work closely with director and legal department to monitor, maintain and execute all executive affiliation agreements and program letters of agreement
  • Monitor and ensure ACGME annual resident, fellow and faculty survey are completed by the annual deadline
  • Oversight of all ACGME institutional documents
  • Develop and maintain institutional and program handbook
  • Liaison for credentialing as it relates to the state medical board licensure, training permits and DEAs for residents and fellows
  • Ensure appropriate training and mentoring of program coordinators for effective utilization of the resident management system, MedHub
  • Track and monitor all GME training programs accurately log procedures to meet all program specialty requirements
  • Manage and ensure successful completion of all new incoming residents and fellows onboarding and credentialing
  • Manage and ensure successful completion of all current resident and fellows promotion management with rosters, distribution, and collection of renewing of annual contracts
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies
  • Attend meetings within the hospital, locally and nationally
  • Work on special assignments and projects as directed
