We’re continuing to invest heavily in building the most talented team in the Creator Economy and are looking for a Staff Frontend Engineer for our Growth team to support our mission.

This role is based in New York and open to those who are able to be in-office 2 days per week on a hybrid work model.

About the Role

• Analyze data from product logs and derive insights/hypotheses for growth experiments
• Perform experiments to improve the efficacy of Patreon’s creator signup and patron signup funnels.
• Measure causal impact through A/B experimentation
• Understand all on-Patreon and off-Patreon levers for growth and design experiments to pull on those levers.
• Work across the entire product surface area of Patreon (web, iOS, Android)
• Grow the business in keeping with the long-term goals of patrons and creators.

About You

• 10+ years of experience in software development
• Can craft joyous user experiences and reusable components using Next,js and React, ably backed up by a solid understanding of JavaScript and TypeScript
• Good knowledge and understanding of modern web technologies, specifically Flask, Node.js, REST, HTTP basics, gRPC and the ability to design maintainable and performant APIs
• Penchant for elegant and simple solutions for complex requirements
