We are seeking a talented individual to join our Workers Compensation team at Mercer Marsh Benefits (MMB). This role will be based in our Sydney office in Barangaroo. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

We will count on you to:

• Perform Outsourced Return to Work Coordinator functions, ensuring effective management of the return-to-work process for injured workers, including triaging and lodgment of new claims
• Develop and maintain comprehensive return-to-work plans tailored to the needs of injured workers while ensuring alignment with employer obligations
• Maintain regular contact with key stakeholders, including injured workers, employers, and insurers, to provide updates and address any concerns
• Conduct thorough reviews of claims to assess progress and recommend appropriate actions to facilitate recovery and return-to-work
• Administer preferred injury management software for selected clients and generate reports related to claims and stakeholder interactions

What you need to have:

• Return to Work Coordinator accreditation desirable but not essential
• Tertiary qualifications in allied health preferred
• Experience in claims management functions at an insurer or employer
• Strong attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel to support various tasks
