  • Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification (Labor and Delivery / Obstetric Acute / Neonatal Intensive Care Unit)
  • Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification (Emergency Department only)
  • Basic Dysrhythmia Class completion: Optional for a Registered Nurse with at least 6 months experience, and successful completion of EKG competency exam
  • Unit specific certification: Documented as DOU/CVOU
  • PCCN preferred
  • Basic Dysrhythmia 3
  • Telemetry Course 4
  • NIH Certification
Responsibilities
  • Provide patient care in a safe and effective manner
  • Direct Patient Care Assistant activity
  • Synthesize patient information
  • Assess patients
  • Plan of care/intervention
  • Teach patients and family
  • Implement treatment plan
  • Follow physician orders
  • Document and evaluate patient care
  • Integrate patient care standards into all clinical activities
  • Demonstrate behavior consistent with the core values of AHMC Anaheim Regional Medical Center and AHMC Healthcare Inc.
  • Support AHMC Anaheim Regional Medical Center’s strategic plan and goals and performance improvement plan
  • Support organizational expectations including Customer Service, Patients' Rights, Confidentiality of Information, Environment of Care and other initiatives
