Requirements
  • Must be permanently on site in Luxembourg
  • Have prior work experience in the preparation of fund accounts and financial statements in accordance with Lux GAAP and IFRS, and familiarity with US GAAP and UK GAAP
  • 2+ years of Accounting or Finance experience within the Funds industry preferred
  • Strong understanding of complex fund accounting mechanisms, specifically relating to closed-end Funds
  • Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Ability to communicate information in a timely, appropriate manner to all relevant internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to multitask to meet multiple deadlines
  • Interest in working on projects in a fast-paced environment with a supportive team and as an individual
  • Experience leveraging technology to optimize processes
  • Hold a numerical Bachelor’s degree, preferably within Accountancy/Finance
  • In-depth knowledge and interest in the Private Equity, Venture Capital and Start-up ecosystem
  • ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent preferred
Responsibilities
  • Perform fund administration and accounting tasks including handling investors transactions, preparing capital calls, producing NAVs, and preparing annual financial statements
  • Enhance fund accounting processes by working closely with Product and Engineering teams to implement improvements and pave the way towards automated fund administration
  • Tackle challenges at the intersection of law, accounting and finance, regulation, and tax
  • Proactively share knowledge with team members on how to best automate fund structures to strengthen processes and improve products overall to provide a unique experience to clients
