Requirements
  • 2 to 4 years of experience in deals consulting or a related field.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and Excel/Google Charts.
  • Expertise in conducting detailed research and analysis.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and similar tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective written and verbal business communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage time efficiently without sacrificing quality.
  • Proactive behavior, strong work ethic, and professional demeanor.
  • Strategic and creative thinking with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • MBA from premier B-Schools.
Responsibilities
  • Demonstrates intimate knowledge of, and/or a proven record of success in operations due diligence or corporate strategy roles within professional services, private equity or corporate organizations.
  • Understanding of various facets of mergers, integrations, spin-offs and/or divestiture transactions, including options analyses and recommendations.
  • Assisting clients with strategic planning and business reviews; growth, market entry and international expansion; and market opportunity sizing.
  • Conducting quantitative and qualitative analyses of complex data, including Operational metrics, Market and competitor analysis (market sizing, drivers and dynamics), customer analysis and internal analysis (strategic analysis, business model reviews, and financials).
  • Experience identifying and validating deals opportunities.
  • Sustaining value creation over a deal lifecycle.
  • High analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Comfort with financial statements.
  • Create and manage client-ready deliverables, including slides and reports.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with team members and clients.
  • Assist the team proactively in various aspects of client engagements, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
  • Conduct primary and secondary research, including desktop research, surveys, and data analysis.
  • Provide insights specific to the Industrial Products and Services sector and private equity.
  • Taking an active role in new business development and pursuit activities, including client lead maturation, proposal development, and closing new business opportunities.
  • Contribute to practice enablement and business development activities.
  • Participate in initiatives aimed at developing innovation within the team.
  • Learn and implement new tools and technologies to enhance client solutions.
  • Stay updated with local and global business and economic issues, focusing on the Industrial Products and Services and private equity sectors.
  • Keep abreast of the latest M&A trends and develop new skills relevant to the industry.
  • Contribute to practice enablement and business development activities.
  • Participate in initiatives to develop innovation quotient.
  • Develop internal relationships to build trust in an effort to develop and market the AC brand.
  • Uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct.
Desired Qualifications
  • Candidates with prior Consulting (Strategy, Management, or Technology) or Deal experience (mergers and acquisition, integration, divestitures, standalone analysis, run rate cost estimates, and Management estimate validation) will be given preference.
  • Candidates with prior industry experience in any of the following functional areas—Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, R&D, or Technology within Industrial Products and Services sector —are preferred. While experience in the sector is a plus, it is not a necessary requirement.
