Requirements
  • Valid, unrestricted license in New Hampshire as an independently licensed mental health professional (i.e. LICSW, LCMHC, Psy.D., Ph.D., LMFT)
  • Minimum 3 years' experience working with Substance Use Disorders and Mental Health required
  • Minimum 3 years' supervisory/management experience required
  • Experience working with the Veteran and First Responder population required
Responsibilities
  • Directly manages, supports, and develops clinicians and interns on staff.
  • Responsible for clinical compliance in accordance with accreditation and licensing standards, including assisting with any quality audits and/or reviews.
  • Identifies, develops, evaluates, and implements new evidence-based programs of the highest quality that supports the needs of the populations served to promote health and wellness while also promoting growth of the program and the brand.
  • Develops training and programming to deliver high quality and effective outpatient services.
  • Creates programs and initiatives that address social/economic/health inequalities using Population Health tools and strategies for the communities served.
  • Partners with the leadership and junior staff to develop training and education programs for local and regional partners.
  • Provides mentorship and guidance to other clinicians on the team to support design, development, and delivery of programming.
  • Responsible for tracking clinical capacity and potential needs to meet community demand.
  • Manage a program budget and expenses for workforce.
  • Responsible for the overall day-to-day operations within the clinic.
  • Facilitate outpatient programs and services for Substance Use Disorder and Mental Health conditions such as group, individual and family therapy as well as case management for caseload of individual client services.
  • Responsible for assessing and diagnosing clients for substance abuse and mental health needs using DSM criteria.
  • Completion of Initial and Follow-up Assessments for clients, as well as assessing for appropriate level of care.
  • Obtain and review records relevant to the current treatment episode, and contact relevant referral sources, family or outside systems as needed.
  • Prepare and maintain treatment plan and necessary revisions, in conjunction with the case manager.
  • Coordinate with treatment team and provide comprehensive recommendations for discharge.
  • Documentation of all counseling services and communications in the clinical records.
  • Maintain all necessary logs required for administrative tracking.
  • Complete relevant state-required work for clients on your caseload.
  • Participate as a member of a multidisciplinary team assigned to the client and participate in case management meetings.
  • Conduct individual and group counseling.
  • Communicate with family members, attorneys, EAPs, doctors or other outside resources, as needed, within provision of consent to release documents, and document all communications.
  • Initiate releases, contracts for safety or any other necessary documents as needed.
  • Provide crisis intervention and other functions as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Desired Qualifications
  • Strong IOP experience preferred; experience creating and launching new IOP programs is a plus
  • Critical Incident Stress Management certification a plus
  • EMDR certification a plus
