Digital marketing experience - even better if you've run email campaigns before
A data-driven approach - you'll need to understand how your campaigns are performing which means analysing data and making recommendations for improvements
Very strong written and verbal communication skills - you'll be writing emails that will be sent to thousands of people so accuracy, spelling and grammar is super important
A creative mindset - we don't take a typical approach to marketing and we need you to think differently about the challenges we need to overcome
A can-do attitude - you need to be willing to roll your sleeves up and get stuck in
Ability to prioritise and think critically - there's always a lot going on and loads of cool things we could do. You need to be able to decipher which tasks we should do
Great teamwork - you'll need to work across the whole marketing team and wider business to make our campaigns a massive success

Responsibilities

Work alongside our Marketing Analyst to write, build and send email campaigns to existing and prospective customers of Octopus EV, across both our business and consumer audiences
Develop and test nurture email campaigns to business prospects, warming them up via email content and working with our Business Development Team convert them
Work with our B2B Brand Manager to run ad hoc email campaigns to businesses - promoting and following up on webinars and other lead generation events
Run email campaigns to potential EV drivers, promoting EV content and our latest offers
Run ad hoc informative campaigns to our customers, as well as customer surveys
Taking requests from other teams across Octopus EV and prioritising what should be sent to customers and when
You'll be writing email copy yourself, building the emails in our CRM system and segmenting and targeting customers for each campaign

We’re looking for an Email Marketing Campaign Executive to plan, run and execute email campaigns that help grow our customer base - ultimately helping customers to understand what we’re all about.

What you’ll do...
