Position Summary

The Marketing Director will collaborate with the Gemini business units’ (BU) management teams to design and execute marketing programs that not only build pipelines but also enhance revenue generation within the existing customer base. This role requires a highly motivated and self-driven leader with a proven ability to build marketing teams, successfully run demand-generation campaigns, and strategically lead while maintaining precise execution.

Location: Canada Remote with 5-10% travel

Job Responsibilities - Portfolio Marketing Management

• Drive Gemini Group’s growth and brand visibility through strategic marketing initiatives as it transitions into its own legal entity.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with BU Presidents and management teams, ensuring effective collaboration.

• Lead and mentor the marketing team, fostering a culture of growth, collaboration, and performance.

• Oversee budget, expense reporting, and KPIs at the BU level to ensure transparency and efficiency.

• Recruit and onboard top marketing talent while managing headcount costs to align with budget goals.

• Continuously monitor and optimize multi-channel marketing performance and campaign effectiveness.

• Address industry challenges by engaging with customers and partners, and conducting relevant market research.

• Collaborate with copywriters, designers, and developers to produce content, maintain the website, and enhance brand presence.

• Organize sponsorships, industry event participation, and manage corporate press releases and announcements.

• Support newly acquired BUs through onboarding, marketing assessments, and transition guidance to align with company goals.

• Oversee and execute special projects as assigned by the Portfolio President and Chief of Staff, ensuring timely and successful completion.

Qualifications

• 6-8+ years of experience in marketing, with a strong track record of leadership.

• Self-starter with a proactive and initiative-driven mindset.

• Creative thinker with the ability to develop out-of-the-box solutions.

• Strong project management skills, able to juggle multiple initiatives simultaneously.

• Expertise in CRM and marketing automation tools.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Experience in technology marketing is essential.
