Requirements
  • At least 10 years of progressive finance leadership experience, including at least 5 years at the senior-executive level leading multidisciplinary teams.
  • Direct experience preparing for or operating within a public-company environment, including understanding investor expectations, regulatory standards, and reporting rigor.
  • Demonstrated success partnering with chief financial officers and investor-relations leaders to support external communications and capital-markets engagement.
  • A proven record of building and scaling financial planning and analysis and corporate finance functions across global, fast-growing organizations.
  • A track record of successful collaboration with product, marketing, and operations leaders to align resources with strategic priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to scale organizations through thoughtful delegation, empowerment, and leadership development.
  • A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics is required.
  • Demonstrated experience deploying or scaling artificial-intelligence-assisted workflows in a finance context, including forecasting, reporting, procurement, or decision support.
  • The ability to identify finance processes suitable for agentic automation and distinguish them from processes requiring human judgment, supported by practical experience.
Responsibilities
  • Partner with the chief financial officer and executive leadership to define and execute the company's long-term financial strategy, supporting sustainable growth, efficiency, and global scale.
  • Lead company-wide forecasting, budgeting, capital allocation, and investment planning while maintaining disciplined profitability and cash management.
  • Partner with the chief financial officer to strengthen the company's external financial narrative and investor engagement, ensuring transparency, accuracy, and credibility in investor communications.
  • Drive the evolution of finance systems, controls, and reporting processes required for a potential public-company environment, including governance, compliance, and audit readiness.
  • Serve as a financial advisor to senior business leaders, converting analytical insight into strategic action; apply expertise across business-to-consumer marketplaces and business-to-business go-to-market operations.
  • Build scalable processes, systems, and decision frameworks to support global growth.
  • Lead and empower teams across financial planning and analysis, corporate finance, procurement, and the finance program management office.
  • Align with Finance Analytics to strengthen forecasting accuracy, data quality, and executive-level financial visibility.
  • Oversee Finance PMO initiatives to ensure disciplined execution of strategic projects.
  • Maintain a culture balancing accountability with empathy by rewarding performance, developing talent, and modeling continuous improvement.
  • Lead adoption of artificial-intelligence and agentic tools across financial planning and analysis, corporate finance, and procurement to automate manual processes and improve finance output quality.
  • Set standards for finance-team use of artificial-intelligence tools and build team capability so artificial-intelligence fluency is a baseline skill.
Desired Qualifications
  • An MBA, certified public accountant credential, or equivalent advanced credential is strongly preferred.
