Responsibilities
  • Demonstrates strong, competent leadership for team members to guide them in reaching their full potential and meeting their objectives, which supports achievement of our corporate goals. Specifically, these responsibilities include but not limited to: Full involvement with recruiting talent. Provides mentoring, coaching and guidance to all team members. Objectively recommends compensation adjustments. Manages all aspects of performance.
  • Assists with the development and supports the product line business strategy. Executes product line business strategy.
  • Participates in the business development strategies and targets. Achieves business development targets. Continuously engages clients in discussions to understand and anticipate needs. Identifies and recommends opportunities for additional businesses. Collaborates with operations teams to identify opportunities for additional businesses. Engages prospective clients for potential business opportunities. Actively attends relevant events in order to establish market presence and contribute to brand awareness. Networks to maintain awareness of potential opportunities. Develops network contacts to foster new business as well as maintain good client relationships for on-going business. Collaborates with stakeholders on business pursuits. Provides subject matter expertise and input for proposals and RFPs. Participates in presentations for prospective clients. Negotiates scope and/or fee with client when necessary.
  • Assists with developing new innovative and integrated offerings and re-packages existing offerings to enhance business development success and to continually deliver value to clients. The integrated offerings may include a number of product lines presented as one client solution.
  • Responsible for achieving profitability targets through business management excellence and business development. Assists with developing and implementing strategies to ensure optimal business, financial, operations and risk management. Provides input to Finance team, including forecasting, reporting and tracking costs and hours to achieve profitability on projects.
  • Develops and maintains effective relationships with clients. Position level of client representatives with whom this position interacts with include those at the senior management level to executive level. Responsible for resolving issues, managing client expectations, and achieving client satisfaction.
  • Responsible for delivering all client obligations and achieving operational and financial metrics. Ensures the manner in which the work is delivered complies with all internal and external requirements. Effective and proactive communication with stakeholders such as clients, contractors, and industry bodies (as required) to ensure client satisfaction and BGIS’s success; effective facilitation of the resolution of escalated issues and challenges that include stakeholders.
  • Identifies or develops and implements process, tools and technologies to innovate and improve service delivery. Develops strategies to achieve greater business operational effectiveness. Identifies and implements efficiencies between product lines under the BGIS Direct banner.
  • Other duties as assigned.
